HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – A Hinds County man has been sentenced to 60 years behind bars after dousing his roommates in gasoline and setting them on fire, killing two of them in 2023.
Hinds County District Attorney Jody E. Owens, II, announced Wednesday that 33-year-old Marcos Uriel Lara Perez has been found guilty on two counts of second-degree murder for a deadly arson that killed two of his roommates.
