Flights into and out of Dallas from Jackson have been cancelled Saturday morning as the winter storm has begun raking across the South.
Most other flights at Medgar Evars International Airport in Jackson are running smoothly as of the moment. Flights into and out of Atlanta and Houston are good for the moment. However, one flight from Charlotte has been cancelled while another going to Charlotte is still on schedule as of 8 a.m.
Airport preparing for the winter storm
With a winter storm bearing down on Mississippi, the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority says it is monitoring and preparing for any problems that might arise.
