JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Pleasant and near-normal this afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 50s. We still have plenty of sunshine for the moment, but changes are on the way tomorrow.
A cold front will begin to push in Friday, bringing cooler air and gusty winds along with an increase in cloud cover. Highs will be in the mid 40s but feel more like the 30s tomorrow afternoon. Overnight, we will fall to the teens for most of the area. Feels like temperatures will be in the single digits Saturday morning, and we will not rise above freezing in the afternoon. There is a chance we see a little sleet or some snow flurries as the cold air filters in, but it will not accumulate or cause any impacts…
