RIDGELAND, Miss. (WJTV) – Madison police announced two suspects were arrested after a chase in a stolen vehicle.
On January 30, 2026, shortly after 2:00 p.m., Madison police said officers spotted a white 2017 Dodge Challenger with a Mississippi license plate. They said the vehicle was connected to crimes in the area.

Madison police attempted to stop the vehicle, which was occupied by two men, on Old Canton Road near Ridgecrest Drive. Police said the vehicle stopped at the entrance to Hite Wolcott Park, but then drove away when officers approached the vehicle.
Before an officer was able to clear himself from the path of the vehicle, police said the officer fired his weapon. The vehicle fled the scene and later came to a rest before entering Highway 51 and McClellan Drive in Ridgeland. Police said both occupants were arrested without further incident…
