MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Alfonzo Farris Jr. is enrolled in Canton Public High School’s Equivalency Program, which helps students like him learn at their own pace.
“I was kind of scared of being in this program to be honest. I thought I wasn’t going to make it,” said Alfonzo.
“Alfonzo came to us with only completing the seventh grade. I was apprehensive about giving him the entrance exam, because the GED is a rigorous assessment.
