Raymond police investigate auto burglaries, urge residents to lock vehicles

RAYMOND — Raymond Police Department is investigating a series of auto burglaries reported Tuesday morning and is asking residents to check their vehicles and security cameras.

Police said several burglaries of unlocked vehicles were reported on Dupree Street, along with additional incidents reported outside the city limits in the Pine Hill area.

Investigators said two black males on foot are considered suspects after they were captured on camera going through at least one vehicle. Police asked anyone with cameras to review footage from overnight and report anything that may be relevant…
