Initial steps for a brand new 50,000-square-foot Madison County Conference Center next to Topgolf in Ridgeland move forward despite some dissent from members of the county board.
The conference center will be owned by Madison County and if approved, financed through the issuance of revenue bonds, Thad Varner, an attorney with Butler Snow, said on Monday. The county typically employs Varner and his firm with regard to the issuance of bonds.
