JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police announced a husband and wife were arrested for stealing AT&T copper wiring.
Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said Nicholas Crum, 46, and Lillia Crum, 42, both of Jackson, were arrested on February 5, 2026. They were both charged with felony grand larceny and felony malicious mischief.
According to Brown, the Crums stole AT&T copper wiring that was valued at more than $5,000. He said the two caused more than $10,000 in damage of electrical components in the areas of Belvedere Drive, Monterey Street and Cummins Street.
The duo appeared in court on February 6, 2026, and each received a $500,000 bond.
