JACKSON, — A man was shot and killed early Monday after two masked intruders broke into an apartment in Jackson, police said.
Officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to an apartment in the 5800 block of Ridgewood Road around 2:30 a.m. and found the body of an unidentified Black man inside the residence.
Investigators said two unidentified Black men wearing ski masks forced their way into the apartment. The resident, fearing for her life, fired a weapon, striking at least one of the intruders. That suspect later died from his injuries, police said…
