18-wheeler driver injured in I-20 road rage shooting

CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – An 18-wheeler driver was injured during a road rage incident on Interstate 20.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the driver was traveling on I-20 West between Ellis Avenue and Highway 18 on February 10, 2026, when he was shot by a passenger in a second 18-wheeler during a road rage incident.

Brown said the victim drove to Clinton and reported the incident on I-20 near Springridge Road. The driver was then transported to a hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
