VIDEO: Copper thieves damage cable wiring in Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are searching for two men who tried to steal AT&T copper cable wiring.

The incident occurred in the area of 100 Woody Drive around 8:00 a.m. on February 11, 2026.

Pascagoula police arrest man for human trafficking during undercover operation

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the theft was interrupted by citizens in the community.

The suspects were observed in a late-model, gray or silver, Ford Expedition. Police said the vehicle was also seen with a rope device that was attached to cable wiring before driving off.
