RIDGELAND – Beginning Feb. 17, the University of Mississippi Medical Center Division of Cardiology will offer its Healthy Heart Screenings at Colony Park North in Ridgeland.
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in Mississippi, accounting for nearly one-third of all deaths in the state and more than 8,000 deaths each year. Mississippi consistently reports one of the highest heart-disease mortality rates in the nation.
