Ridgeland PD to upgrade service weapons by May

RIDGELAND—Police officers could have new and upgraded service weapons as early as May.

The Ridgeland Police Department will purchase 69 new Glock 45 handguns with mounted red-dot sights, attachable flashlights, and corresponding holsters, according to Ridgeland Police Chief Brian Myers.
