MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Local liquor stores said they’re feeling the strain of the Mississippi Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) warehouse backlog.
Richard Peaster, the co-owner of Madison Cellars, said the delays have affected the shelves at his store.
“Today, we received an order that was placed on January 22nd. The delay in delivery means that, you know, our customers are waiting for stuff that we had planned on having a month ago,” he said.
