JACKSON – A suspect in Jackson’s seventh homicide of the year appeared in municipal court Wednesday and was ordered held without bond on a murder charge, according to the Jackson Police Department.
Police said Jamecia Harper appeared before a municipal court judge on Feb. 18, 2026, in connection with Homicide No. 7, which investigators have linked to a case in the 1600 block of Raymond Road.
