JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The Mississippi State Fairgrounds have been a staple in the community for over a century, hosting countless events and bringing the state together.
Andy Gipson, Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce, said it’s running out of space and it’s time to grow.
The fairgrounds currently consist of around 105 acres and hosts events like the Mississippi State Fair, farmers markets, the Dixie National Rodeo, and much more.
