JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The city of Jackson has received new bids to repair a bridge off Martin Luther King Jr. Drive that has been closed since 2022, Public Works Director Lorenzo Anderson said.
Anderson said bids totaling $1.393 million were received last week. The city is now in the process of accepting those bids and hopes to select one by the first City Council meeting in March. Construction could begin as early as spring, Anderson said.
