The owners of a Mississippi fire safety company are headed to prison after pleading guilty to a massive fraudulent scheme that spanned more than a dozen counties and left local businesses with hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses.
Daniel and Sherry Finnegan, owners of Finnegan Fire Safety Equipment, entered guilty pleas Tuesday in Rankin County. The charges stem from a sweeping investigation by the Mississippi Office of the State Fire Marshal into faulty fire protection installations and financial exploitation.
