City of Pearl to host Amnesty Day for residents with unpaid fines and contempt warrants

PEARL — The City of Pearl will hold an Amnesty Day on Saturday, Feb. 28, offering residents with outstanding fines the opportunity to resolve contempt warrants without additional penalties, officials announced.

The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Pearl Court Records, 2561 Old Brandon Road. City officials said individuals who appear in person can have contempt warrants tied to unpaid fines removed, and any additional contempt fees forgiven.
