Madison Central put together a dominant second half performance to defeat defending state champion Tupelo 78-59 in the MHSAA 7A quarterfinals on Thursday afternoon and clinch a spot at the Mississippi Coliseum next week.
The Lady Jaguars found themselves in a physical battle throughout the first half and held a four-point advantage going into the halftime break.
