Madison County residents concerned about utilities

MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Residents in Madison County said their utility issues have been a problem for too long.

The Madison County Board of Supervisors held a community meeting on Thursday to allow residents the opportunity to voice their concerns and listen to future solutions.

“I’ve lived up here all my life, so issues have always been a problem, especially in the northeastern part of Madison County. Lights go out for several days, and people don’t have access again to lighting and heat,” said Timmy Pickett, a Madison County resident.

Representatives with Entergy said there’s a plan in progress to provide more efficient methods in the area to stop the issues, but it will take some time…
