JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The sound of metal being heated up along with bright flashes of light could be seen and heard at Delta Technical College Thursday.
Sixty-three welders from across the area came to put their welding skills to the test.
“We have 63 total contestants from Jackson, CDC, Pearl High School, Forest, Scott County, Jefferson County; students from all over southern Mississippi here coming to compete to showcase their welding skills and put a project together,” said Louie Schonauer, Director of High School Admissions at DTC…
