New county building raises Cobblestone traffic concerns

MADISON — A new county office building at Cobblestone has residents up in arms about increased traffic.

As county officials move forward with plans to build a new Tax Assessor’s office off of Highway 51, Cobblestone residents have expressed concerns about the increased traffic.

District 3 Supervisor Gerald Steen said the county has “outgrown’ their current building and is looking to build a new building to house the Tax Assessor’s office behind the current building that houses both the Tax Assessor and Tax Collector’s office.
