JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A former Jackson city councilman charged in connection with a bribery scheme to bring a convention center hotel to the city wants to be tried separately from his co-conspirators.
Amid a flurry of briefings filed last month, an attorney for former Ward Six Councilman Aaron Banks filed a motion “for severance of defendants.”
