HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – The Hinds County Board of Supervisors has approved a measure allowing county firefighters to use Rapid SOS, part of a broader effort to link that system with the Eagle Eye Network for emergency response.
When a person calls 911 and gives permission, dispatchers can access cameras within 1,000 feet of the caller’s location in real time. The county is working with the City of Jackson to share camera feeds and finalize official policies for the combined system.
