CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – The City of Clinton, on behalf of the Clinton Fire Department, was awarded a grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.
Officials said the funds will be used to purchase 14 sets of bunker gear, valued at up to $44,730.

“The grant has allowed us to equip our firefighters with the latest protective gear, giving them the confidence and protection they need to move quickly and safely into dangerous situations to serve our community,” said Clinton Fire Chief Levius Buckley.
“On behalf of the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, I am honored to present this grant award to the Clinton Fire Department,” said William Craig, Firehouse Subs multi-unit franchisee. “Since opening our Firehouse Subs restaurant in Clinton in December 2024, we’ve felt welcomed and supported by this city. We’re thankful for the opportunity to give something back to these first responders who protect and serve this community every day.”…
