Belhaven University restores systems following cybersecurity incident

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Belhaven University announced systems have been restored following a cybersecurity incident.

According to the university, access was temporarily suspended to portions of its internal network on March 6, 2026, after identifying a cybersecurity incident.

JPS seeks public input for comprehensive district needs

Systems were taken offline as a precaution and have since been reviewed and restored, with the assistance of cybersecurity specialists.
