Fight the Good Fight Non-Profit Uses Farm Life to Help Those Recover From Trauma and Grief

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Gina Archer and her family have started a non-profit at their farm in Brandon called, “Fight the Good Fight.” It uses equine therapy and other aspects of farm life to help people recover from trauma or deal with grief.

Archer started this in memory of her son Kaden who died on Christmas Day in 2023. She says he died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl. He was recovering from knee injury in soccer when she says someone gave him a pain pill that unknowingly had fentanyl in it.

Now the Archers have turned 13 acres of their farm into a retreat where families can find healing, rest and hope…
