JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Events scheduled at the Mississippi Trade Mart in Jackson this weekend have been canceled due to a fire.
According to officials, the fire occurred in a vendor booth in Trade Hall B. They said the fire was contained to the booth and the booths immediately surrounding it.

Initial assessments showed that there appears to be little or no fire or water damage to the Trade Mart building. However, there is extensive and saturated smoke throughout the facility.
Officials said the Spring Market and the All 4 Children Consignment have been canceled. The Southern Cutting Horse Futurity, which is taking place in the Kirk Fordice Equine Center this weekend, will continue as scheduled…
