MADISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) – A man who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for shooting a woman in the head at a Ridgeland apartment complex will spend the next 35 years in prison.
On Monday, Circuit Judge Steve Ratliff sentenced Dannquarious Byest to 40 years in prison, with five years suspended.
