Man charged in Club Twilight shooting appears in court

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The man charged in connection to a shooting at a club that injured two security guards appeared in court on March 24, 2026.

Jimmy Davis received a $250,000 bond on Tuesday. His defense argued that the shooting was a moment of anger, and he is not a habitual offender.

Defense claims natural causes in death of Jackson woman found buried behind home

Police said Davis was arrested on February 3, 2026, and charged with three counts of aggravated assault.

The shooting occurred outside of Club Twilight in the 3000 block of Livingston Road around 2:00 a.m. on January 30, 2026.
