JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson city leaders continued talks Friday on how they would get a handle on a roughly $30 million budget shortfall.
This week, Chief Administrative Officer Pieter Teeuwissen announced that Jackson had about a $23 million shortfall in its general fund balance, in addition to $7 million in water bills that must be addressed.
