FAA: Flight leaving McGhee Tyson Airport makes emergency stop in Mississippi for ‘engine issue’

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Officials said a flight that left McGhee Tyson on the way to Texas landed just before noon on Monday because of a reported engine issue.

Federal Aviation Officials said CommuteAir Flight 4302 landed safely at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport in Jackson, Mississippi, at 11:50 local time this morning.
