Starting March 31, Children’s of Mississippi at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson is opening a new adolescent acute psychiatric unit for teens ages 13 to 17. The 10-bed unit offers inpatient care for youth experiencing mental health crises such as depression, anxiety, or trauma.
