JACKSON — Mayor John Horhn is urging eligible homeowners to apply for a state-administered recovery program before a fast-approaching deadline to receive assistance for storm-damaged homes.
The Mississippi Homeowner Rehabilitation & Reconstruction Program, administered by the Mississippi Development Authority, provides federally funded aid to low- and moderate-income homeowners whose homes were damaged or destroyed during the April 8-11, 2024, tornadoes and straight-line winds.
