Judge on Jackson bribery case: ‘I am not moving this trial to Gulfport’

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Three men charged in connection with a scheme to bring a convention center hotel to downtown Jackson will be tried in the capital city.

That’s according to U.S. District Judge Daniel Jordan, who made the announcement at a Wednesday morning status conference.

“I am not moving this trial to Gulfport,” he said. “That is not, in my mind, an option.”…
