JACKSON – Jackson Public Schools is mourning the death of Heather Green, an educator and instructional coach who served the district for nearly two decades.
In a statement, the district extended condolences to Green’s family, friends, colleagues and others impacted by her life and work.
According to Jackson Public Schools, Green worked as a teacher from 2005 to 2024 at Siwell Middle School, Powell Middle School, Callaway High School and Murrah High School. She later served as an instructional coach in the district’s High School Office from 2024 until her death…
