JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Feb. 17 was a day that went down in history for the town of Star. Fast forward to today, and the real work is underway as the town’s government and facilities take shape.
Cal Mangum, one of the town’s first aldermen, said, “In the future, we do plan to not only have a police department, but also have our own town hall. Right now, the fire department is gracious enough to let us use their building for our town meetings.”
