JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Both the defense and the prosecution have rested in the trial of the woman accused of killing two people during a drunk driving crash in Jackson.
Jada Kelly waived her right to testify in her own defense. She has been charged with aggravated DUI.
Shooting at Monticello Sonic leaves one injured
The crash occurred around 3:00 a.m. on January 15, 2024, at the intersection of Interstate 55 North Frontage Road and Canton Mart Road. Police said Azure Higgins, 46, and Valerie Lynch, 43, were killed in the crash.
