JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson Police Chief Dr. RaShall Brackney said it could be time to rethink how the city seeks the public’s help in solving crimes.
Brackney attended her first Jackson City Council meeting as chief on Tuesday, where she offered her opinion on the city’s use of Crime Stoppers in solving violent crimes.
“We have to be much more creative and not just think outside the box, but think outside the building about how we do things differently,” she said. “There are innovative ways that we can do this, much more creative ways that are much more impactful.”…
