LAUREL, Miss. (WDAM) – Agriculture enthusiasts from Smith, Jones, Jasper, Covington, Rankin, Scott, Newton and Simpson counties joined forces, putting agriculture front and center Thursday.
People from local areas and out of state made their way to Laurel for the Annual Magnolia Beef and Poultry Expo.
“I’m having a lot of fun here, there’s a bunch of tractors, a bunch of trailers, it’s nice learning all the facts about these different companies here,” attendee Gabe O’Quinn said. “There’s a lot of people here from different backgrounds, like Colorado, Arkansas, and there’s USDA influencing kids and even adults to join the agriculture community.”…
