FLORENCE, Miss. — Mississippi homeowners can now save up to $10,000 on roof repairs starting in July. The Strengthen Mississippi Homes Act makes that possible and was approved today by Gov. Tate Reeves.
Even after three years, some homes along McCullough-McLin Road in Florence still aren’t fully repaired from a tornado that ripped through in June of 2023. Homeowners say this new program from the state is badly needed.
