KKK materials found in Mississippi building now available to public

Ku Klux Klan materials from the 1960s are now publicly accessible through the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, after items such as charters and lists of Mississippi Klansmen were discovered in a state law enforcement building in March.

The Mississippi Department of Archives and History announced Wednesday, May 20, that 1960s-era Ku Klux Klan materials can be seen in the department’s research library in downtown Jackson. Items are also now available for viewing online.
