FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Deputies are asking for help on Tuesday in finding an 18-year-old who set out on a bicycle trip across Florida and hasn’t been heard from in days.
Jasper Frohock was reported missing on June 15, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office. His family says he left his home in Jacksonville, planning to ride all the way to the Florida Keys, covering miles each day and camping overnight in a tent along the way, often in local parks.
Investigators say the last place tied to Frohock was Crestview Drive, near Hernando Street, in Fort Pierce, but they don’t know exactly when he was there. That uncertainty has raised concern as deputies try to retrace his route.
