JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Six people were taken to a hospital following a fire aboard the USS Indianapolis (LCS 17) at Naval Station Mayport Wednesday, a spokesperson told News4JAX.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to the vessel around 12:18 p.m. All six individuals suffered minor injuries.
Naval Station Mayport did not release specifics on the nature of those injuries…
