A motorist from Mexico was arrested after he was caught driving without a license in the Eastport area of The Villages.
Roman Herrera-Hernandez, 30, of Ocala, was pulled over at about 10:26 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Busche Boulevard and Frank Trail, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
During the traffic stop, Herrera-Hernandez told the officer that he did not have a Florida driver’s license and instead presented a Mexico identification card. A subsequent computer check confirmed that he had never been issued a driver’s license in Florida and had no driving record in the state…
