Victim identified in deadly Lower Broadway crash that left one tourist dead, 3 injured

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Metro Nashville Police have identified the Australian man killed after they say an 87-year-old Kentucky driver ran a red light and struck four pedestrians on Lower Broadway Saturday afternoon.

Police identified the victim as Timothy Wedlock, 58, of Australia.

The crash happened on August 1 just after 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Fourth Avenue North and Broadway, one of downtown Nashville’s busiest pedestrian crossings…
