Regency Square Mall gets demolition approval; here’s when it could start

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The former Regency Square Mall’s east wing was approved for demolition Friday morning, signaling the start of the end for the 59-year-old regional shopping center.

Work likely will start next week to take down the building. Site work has been ongoing in preparation.
