Florida Highway Patrol investigators arrested a man Thursday in connection to a high-speed chase that left a state trooper seriously injured on Interstate 295 in June.
Aden Lothar Parker was charged with first-degree felony aggravated fleeing and eluding resulting in serious bodily injury to an officer, according to a news release from FHP.

The arrest follows an incident on June 21, when Trooper R. Martin attempted to pull Parker over for driving 115 mph in a 55 mph zone on the I-295 northbound exit ramp to State Road 21 (Blanding Boulevard). Troopers said Parker acknowledged the traffic stop before speeding away.
During the resulting chase, Parker operated his motorcycle in a hazardous manner, FHP said. The pursuit ended in a patrol car crash that severely injured Trooper Martin, while Parker drove away from the scene…
