First Alert Weather: More areas of rain for Labor Day

This morning is mild with temperatures in the 70s and partly cloudy skies. Roads are damp from yesterday’s rain that continued overnight in many areas.

  • Highs will not be as warm today—mainly in the 80s—thanks to additional clouds and more rounds of rain.
  • Showers and a few storms will stream onshore later this morning into the afternoon. Some rain will be heavy with gusty winds.
  • Onshore winds will strengthen some this afternoon, increasing the rip current risk at our local coast.
  • A few showers and storms continue the next few days, but plenty of dry hours will be in the mix.
  • Temperatures will heat up by the end of the week with highs back in the lower to middle 90s.
